Enhanced subsidies for recommended health screening under Screen for Life (SFL)

Screen for Life (SFL) is the national screening programme by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) that offers eligible Singaporeans and Permanent Residents subsidised screenings, recommended based on age and gender.

SFL aims to drive Singaporeans to go for regular screenings and follow-up. It consolidates HPB's screening programmes, previously known as Integrated Screening Programme, BreastScreen Singapore, CervicalScreen Singapore, Community Functional Screening Programme, and National Colorectal Cancer Screening Programme.

Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Health Promotion Board (HPB) have enhanced the Screen for Life (SFL) programme to encourage eligible Singaporeans to go for recommended health screenings and post-screening follow-up.

Besides Pioneer Generation (PG) and Health Assist (HA) cardholders, all other Singaporeans can also access subsidised screening and one follow-up consultation (if needed) at a low, fixed fee, as long as they are recommended by HPB to go for screening. These screening services are only available at CHAS GP clinics.

Health Assist cardholders (both Blue and Orange) will pay a fixed fee of $2 and Pioneers will not need to pay, for recommended screening test(s) done within the same visit and first post-screening consultation, if required.
